Apple iPhone 13 Series is Here! 120Hz for the First Time!

The iPhone 13 Series will have Super retina XDR display with reduced notch size by 20%. They have a 800nits of brightness while using and up to 1200nits(peak while HDR). It is 27% righter than iPhone 12. It have HDR 10 support. The Display Sizes are 5.4″ and 6.1″.

When we talk about iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max, this time they have a Pro Motion Super Retina XDR OLED display. It is a LTPO panel with adaptive refresh rate from 10Hz to 120Hz when needed. It is 25% brighter than previous generation with 1000Nits of Typical and 1200Nits of Peak Brightness. The Display Sizes are 6.1″ and 6.7″.

They have Ceramic Shield with the best drop protection ever in a smartphone. And at the back they have used Custom Corning Gorilla Glass.

Battery and Charging

In terms of battery, there’s a huge jump from the previous generation because of the Processor’s efficiency and Bigger Battery sizes. The iPhone 13 Mini has a 2406mAh Battery, means 1.5hr more screen time. Both iPhone 13 / 13 Pro have 3095mAh batteries. The iPhone 13 have 2.5hr more SOT, iPhone 13 Pro have 1.5hr more SOT. The iPhone 13 Pro Max has the biggest every in iPhone, 4352mAh with more 2.5hr SOT. And we all know that iPhone’s 4000mAh is Android’s 5500mAh.

OS

As there’s a huge increment in battery sizes, the phone has become thicker. Despite that, it will not be thicker as Apple wants to give the best in-hand feel on their smartphones.

The iPhone 13/ 13 Mini has an Aluminium Frame with a Glass-Metal-Glass Sandwich design. At the back, it has a custom Corning Gorilla Glass with Glossy finish at the back and Matte at Camera Glass.

The iPhone 13 Pro/ Pro Max has a Stainless Steel frame with a Glass-Metal-Glass Sandwich design. The back is the same as Custom Corning Gorilla Glass. But these phones have a Frosted Back and glossy glass at the camera.

Same Flat sides like the previous generation but with reduced notch size. An improved Ceramic Shield is also included.

Connectivity & Security

The iPhone 13 series is a future-proof 5G ready smartphone. They support a maximum number of 5G bands. Also, this time Apple has to launch the mmWave ready iPhone 13 series to more countries officially. There are more than 200 5G carriers supported over 60 countries. All these will have a dual SIM option with a physical and an e-sim.

Also, there’s not any compromise in terms of connectivity such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC. But this time also there’s not any Type-C port. Still, Lightning is used here and with Mag safe.
