Samsung Galaxy S22 is Here! Every Detail Ft. Samsung S22 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S22 Series

The S series is known as the flagship series by tech giant Samsung. They try their best to put all the numbers and innovations in this series. They also introduce new Flagship Exynos SOCs with the S series in the Unpacked event. The camera exceeds its limit even more, and the display becomes more beautiful.

This time they have totally replaced their Flagship Note series with the S series. Not any new generation of Note series will be launched in the future. The Ultra has inbuilt S Pen Functionality this time. So let’s look at the specs that S22 Series provide.

Camera

One of the greatest selling points of the S series is its camera. It has the best camera performance that you could expect from a flagship smartphone. The color tones, sharpness, contrast, and everything are just perfect. Taking a look at camera specs:

All phones can shoot up to 8K@24fps and 4K@60fps from the rear. They also support HDR videos. There are multiple modes such as Single Take, Portrait video, dual video, and much more. The selfie shooter can shoot up to 4K@60fps in all.

Performance

Performance is a very controversial part for Samsung Flagships. This is because, in countries like China and USA, Samsung offers Qualcomm Snapdragon Flagships. Whereas Exynos Flagships to international markets. But this time Samsung has launched the S series with Snapdragon at least in India which was a great demand from Indian fans.

It has the latest WiFi and Bluetooth Connectivity. There are All the 5G bands supported.

So it comes in 2 variants:

• Exynos 2200 in collaboration with AMD for GPU
• Snapdragon 8Gen 1 with Adreno 730

The performance can be easily compared with any other flagship. They have the best performance that you can get on Android. All the games are unlocked with maximum settings. The performance is overpowered for normal users in both Exynos and Snapdragon.

UI

Both come on Android 12 based on OneUI 4.1 out of the box. It has much more optimization for single-hand usage. And has some cool features like Samsung Dex, iPhone to Android WhatsApp trans, and much more. Samsung Promises incredible 4YRS of OS support means they will receive even an Android 16 Update. Also, they promise 5YRS of Security Patches and improvements.

It is fluid with Samsung’s optimization. Samsung will not let you miss out on a feature of new Android versions 😉 You should note that Samsung focuses on battery life a bit more than performance so don’t expect a Proper gaming performance but still it is one of the most powerful smartphones out there.

Display

It is another major highlight of the Samsung Flagships. The Panel used here is Samsung’s Flagship Dynamic AMOLED 2X Panel. It has FHD+ (S22, Plus), with a 120Hz Refresh Rate. It has a peak brightness of 1300nits. The S22 Plus has a 6.6inch, and S22 has a 6.1inch.

The Ultra has a 6.8inch QHD+ with 120Hz refresh rates. The Ultra uses an LTPO panel with an adaptive refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. It also has an incredible 1750nits of peak brightness with booster technology. IT IS THE BEST DISPLAY A SMARTPHONE CAN HAVE TO DATE.

Security

It is a very important feature of a smartphone that many users miss out on. But Samsung focuses on the security and privacy of its users, they have their in-house Samsung Knox Security. Also, for unlocking the smartphone, the S22 series uses an Ultra Sonic FP scanner for fast and secured unlocking.

Battery and Charging

The S22 comes on a 3700mAh battery. Whereas the S22+ on a 4500mAh, and the Ultra on a 5000mAh battery. All of them are good enough for every user. Still, there’s a massive battery on S22 Ultra which will last for more than a day for any user.  All the phones support 45W Fast Charging, but the charger is missing from the box 🙁 All three phones also support Wireless and Reverse Wireless charging.

Build and Design

The S22 and S22 Plus look almost as same as the S21 series, the difference is S22 and S22 Plus have Flat sides. These are available in 4 color variants Cream, Violet, Graphite, Sky Blue and it has an Aluminium Frame and Gorilla Glass Victus+ front and back.

The Ultra looks like a fusion of Note 20 Ultra with S21 Ultra. It has 7 color options- Burgundy, Phantom Black, Phantom White. These are available exclusively on their site- Graphite, Red, Sky Blue. Also, the S22 Ultra comes with a stronger Armor Aluminium Frame and Gorilla Glass Victus+ front and back.
