Apple giving away free AirPods with iPads and selected Macs!!!

Free and Apple? Both words are just opposites. Apple is bringing back its back-to-school promotion program just before a new academic year. This time they are giving away free Airpods with select iPads and Macs. In contrast to the previous year’s back-to-school promotion in which they gave away a pair of beats headphones. A little further back, Apple used to give gift cards to the Apple store. Here’s how this back-to-school promotion works

What is Apple giving away?

Apple is giving away the standard $159 earpods this time. Although students can upgrade to an AirPod with the wireless case by paying the $40 or $90 price difference only. Airpods Max isn’t eligible for this upgrade program this time.

This year, Apple is also giving away a 20% discount on AppleCare+ purchases for any of the educational items. Too much free with Apple right? (surprising noises).

Apple devices, eligible for the Back to School program.

Previously, The company used to differentiate based on the price of the product purchased. For example, if a student buys a higher-end machine, he will receive expensive accessories and vice versa. Now this time the company has kept the offer really simple. All educational students will only get the same pair of AirPods regardless of what machine they buy.

Nearly every version of the macs and iPads is available for this program. Here’s the complete list-

• MacBook Air (M1)
• MacBook Pro (both intel and M1)
• iMac(24-inch both m1 and intel)
• Mac mini(M1 and intel)
• iPad Pro (M1)
• iPad Air(4th- Gen)

Sadly, the 8th Gen iPad and the 5th Gen iPad mini are not included in this offer. The reason can be because of their already cheap prices. iPad Air 4 is also not included in this program.

Who all can benefit?

The Back to school program is only available for k-12 educational institutions which includes school board members, PTA and PTO. It also contains home teachers and faculty, staff and students.

Commencement dates!

The promotion scheme starts from June 17 till September 27 (a lot of time guys don’t forget to benefit from this). In India though, Students and parents can benefit from the educational discounts.
