Realme June Mega Launch- Narzo 30 5G, TV, TWS. BAD MOVE?

REALME MEGA LAUNCH

So Realme is apparently losing its importance over launching multiple smartphones at the same price. They did this again this time, and more brutally with the Narzo 30 5G. Today at the launch event the company launched Narzo 30 and 30 5G, a 32 inch smart TV, and a pair of TWS earphones. So let’s see what’s new in these products and are they worth considering.

Realme Narzo 30/30 5G

I will sum up the specifications in brief and add on some of my opinions along with it.

Specifications Of Narzo 30/30 5G are as follows-

Performance and Chipset

Realme Narzo 30 features a Mediatek G95 gaming chipset. It is the top-of-the-line G series chip from Mediatek. Consists of a total of 8 cores based on 12nm technology. This chipset is good for daily usage and midrange gaming. You can play games in high settings and that too very smoothly. The Antutu scores around 3.5 lakh. Although keeping aside the Antutu this is the best chip you can get at this price.

The Narzo 30 5G has the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, a 5G soc. It is based on 7nm technology for better battery efficiency. Gaming in this one is also decent and the chip is good for daily usage. Although, the same chipset is provided by the same company at a lower price too in Realme 8 5G. This is also not the best performance you can get for the price. What is the point in paying more for this phone when you are getting the same thing at a lesser price?

Display

Realme Narzo 30 gets a descent 90hz Full HD IPS panel. It is a 6.4-inch display with the standard touch sampling rate. At this price you can get an AMOLED display in Redmi note 10 but with a 60hz refresh rate. So the display is one of the best in the segment.

On the other hand, Realme has no idea what type of display they should have put in Narzo 30 5G. A phone costing around 16k features a 90hz LCD! Matlab Kuch Bhi? You can get much better displays for the price. Redmi note 10 pro at the same price provides you with a 120hz AMOLED panel. This is one of the worst displays you can get in the segment. Not exaggerating, it is true.

Camera

The camera is another letdown this time for both the phones apart from the main sensors. Narzo 30 has a triple camera setup with a 48mp main Sony sensor and two useless dummies. The same is the case with Narzo 30 5G. At the price of 12.5k and 16k, both phones don’t have an ultrawide sensor. All phones in these segments provide an ultrawide sensor except these two devices. The main sensor is expected to perform well overall. The front sensor is 16mp on both phones. It will also give out decent shots for the price. We still haven’t tested the cameras ourselves.

Battery and Charging

Realme Narzo 30 gets a 30-watt dart charge tech that will quickly charge your device and this is the best you can get in the segment.

Although the big brother, Realme Narzo 30 5G has 18-watt charging. At this price segment, it is one of the slowest charging speeds you can get(the slowest still is Samsung). Redmi and even Realme itself offer you better charging tech at the same price. Both phones feature a 5000 MAH battery intact.

Software and other

Both phones come with Realme UI based on Android 11 out of the box. Realme UI is a very clean software skin. Although it gets a few bloatware and a few ads. But it is better than MIUI surely. You will also get several useful as well as useless features in this Realme UI. The number of 5G bands supported in Narzo 30 5G is still not clear.

Pricing or Realme Narzo 30/30 5G

Realme has launched the Narzo 30 for 12,499 for the 4/64GB variant and 2K extra for the 6/128GB variant. I feel that this device is value for money at the base variant ONLY.

Realme Narzo 30 5G is launched at a price of 16k for the 6/128GB variant. At this price, this phone is definitely not value for money. You can get better deals at the same price. People looking for a 5G device should also not consider it. They can go with the cheaper Realme Narzo 30 pro 5G which has better specs to this and is cheaper. REALME HAS KILLED ITS DEVICE EVEN BEFORE THE FIRST SALE. The fact that Narzo 30 5G sells for 16k and Narzo 30 pro 5G sells for 15.5k, really dumb logic from realme.

Now lets move to the Realme Buds Q2 and the Realme TV

Besides the two phones, Realme has also launched the Buds Q2. I will sum up it in two or three paragraphs. It is the cheapest wireless TWS in India that supports ANC technology. It connects to both Android and iOS through the Realme link app. You can alter many settings related to the buds which will help you to make the buds personalized according to your use.

Buds Q2 also supports a low Latency mode for a lesser delay during games and stuff with dual microphones for noise cancellations during calls. the Earphones have 10mm, drivers, with 28 hours claimed battery life on a single charge. Bluetooth 5.2 is also supported in the Realme Buds Q2.

Pricing of Realme Buds Q2

Realme Buds Q2 are launched at a competitive price of 2.5k It defeats its competitors at this price point. And also, Realme’s sound quality and tuning are also up to the mark.

Realme TV 32 inch Full HD

Realme TV 32 inch is a continuation of the existing lineups of TVs at the company. The thing which separates it from the other 32 inch TVs is that it comes with a Full HD resolution. It means that it has more pixels per inch on the display panel. It will provide much more clarity and sharpness with support for Full HD content. The display also has an 85 percent color gamut and a chroma boost engine for better colors
