Hey Everyone, The RILs 44^th AGM held on 24^th June 21. There are lots of things & techs, from Giga factories to Jio Phone Next are announced by RIL. So today we’re going to talk about the big announcements made by RIL in AGM. So let’s get started!

Reliance Industries Limited AGM

We are in the midst of a humanitarian crisis. Many of our employees and shareholders have borne the brunt of the COVID-19 pandemic. We offer them our condolences said, Mr. Ambani.

They have opened a Reliance Institute in Navi Mumbai. It will start Academic Sessions by this year. Mr. Ambani said that their retail shareholders have made 4 times of profits by Investing in RIL.

The Reliance Retails are the undisputed leaders of organized retailing in the country. Reliance Retail is on a hyper-growth to grow at least 3x in the next 3-5 years, said Mr. Ambani. Reliance Retail is created 65,000 new jobs with protecting jobs in RIL.

RIL also makes it official and welcomes Saudi Aramco as a strategic partner. They welcomed Yasir Al-Rumayyan into their RIL board, chairman of Saudi Aramco and governor of PIF.

Mrs.Ambani said that they didn’t cut the salaries of the employees amid COVID

Mrs. Ambani said that RIL did not cut the salaries, bonuses, or any other compensations of their employees throughout the pandemic situation.
She also talked about how they have contributed to India’s fight with Covid.

The RIL announced their plan to disrupt new energy biz.

They have started to develop Dhirubhai Ambani green energy Giga Complex on massive land of 5000 acres in Jamnagar, GJ. They’re planning to set up 4 Giga Factories for their Next Green Plan.

Consumer businesses raise RIL’s consolidated revenue to Rs. 5,40,000cr in Financial Year 2021.

The consolidated EBITDA was around Rs.98,000 crore. They have made a profit of around Rs.54000cr. Also, this was 34.8% higher than last year. In the last 10 years, Reliance invested $90bn in creating substantial wealth for the nation and value for shareholders, said Mr. Ambani.

“In the coming decade, Reliance has capacity to catalyse investsments of over $200Billions directly through partners”, said Mr. Ambani.

Investment of Rs.60,000 CR in Green Energy plan

Mr. Ambani said that the their Investment of Rs. 60K Cr, will be used to develop Giga factories. These Factories will be used to manufacture the critical components of new energy ecosystem. These will involve the production of Solar Energy, production of green hydrogen, etc.

They claimed to enable at least 100giga watts of energy by 2030.
They Setup Giga Complexes at Jamnagar.

RIL stocks closed to 2.35% lower for trade on the prime day of 44^th AGM. They have planned to Invest Rs.15000cr in value chain partnership and future technologies.

Reliance Jio

They have an addition of almost a 38million users to their Reliance Jio Family. And now they are serving network Service to 425million users in India. Even they are the leader of the revenue market in 19 circles out of 22.

The most awaited and hyped announcement of the 44^th AGM is the Jio’s Smartphone.

JioPhone Next : The Cheapest 4G smartphone ever in the world

JioPhone Next is announced in AGM by Mr. Ambani in the partnership with Google. Mr. Ambani also claimed that this will be going to be the cheapest 4G smartphone of India. This Smartphone will be available from 10^th September 2021 (Ganesh Chaturthi). This Smartphone from Jio will come some crazy features such as:

The First and the most important thing for UI is OS. This Smartphone will feature a highly optimized version of Android, specially made for JioPhone Next in partnership with the global tech giant ‘Google’.
Voice Assistant tuned for Indian’s voice.
Automatic loud reading of Screen Text.
Language translation from any language to the User’s Local Language.
Smart Camera with features like Augmented Reality.
Google has integrated India Specific Snapchat lenses into the camera of this Smartphone.
Also, this Smartphone will receive
System updates with Security Patches and Extra features, and further improvements.
Its camera will have some cool features such as HDR, filters, Google Lens Built-in.

Full-Fledged 5G Services in India from Jio

The CEO of RIL Mr. Ambani is too much excited about the 5G launch in India. He also said that Jio will bring full-fledged 5G services in India. Their aim is to create 100% owned intellectual property in 5G, AI/ML, mixed reality, and blockchain.

Jio’s Partnership with Google Cloud in 5G

“A new 5G partnership between Google Cloud and Jio will help more than a billion Indians connect to a faster internet, support businesses in digital transformation, and lay the foundation for next phase of India’s digitization,” said Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet.

Jio’s aim is to make India “2G Mukt and 5G Yukt”

“Jio is uniquely positioned to quickly and seamlessly upgrade to 5G. To develop a 5G ecosystem, we are working with global partners to develop a range of 5G devices.”

According to Jio, Jio Fiber has become the largest and fastest-growing Fix broadband operator of India. They have added more than 2 million new premises over the past year. They now have a base of 3 million home and business users.
