Specifications
Performance
Realme GT comes with the top-notch SoC from the house of Snapdragon, the SD 888. It is based on 5nm battery efficient technology and is the fastest chipset available in the market. Because of this, Realme GT would be an absolute killer in performance. Although we suspect that the final performance output may vary as per the optimization done by Realme. Snapdragon 888 runs on 2.42Ghz clock speed.
Display
The Flagship Realme comes with a flagship grade display. It is a 6.43 inch Super AMOLED panel with 409 PPI (pixels per inch). The display also comes with a high refresh rate of 120 hz. It is a flat panel. Although flat and curved really depends on personal preference. This is probably not the best display out there but it is one of the better one’s in comparison to flagships.
Camera
Shocking but true, Realme GT has a triple camera setup with contains a 2mp crap sensor also. This means it’s totally unacceptable for a flagship to have a 2mp sensor. The main sensor is a 64mp sony which will take decent shots. It also comes with an 8mp Wide-angle camera with a LED flash. On the front, there is a 16mp shooter. The camera is really a matter of testing so I can’t comment based on paper-specs (Get the hints man!! share the article so we can get some review units!).
Battery and Charging
Nothing much to say on the battery part. A descent 4500 mah cell with Super Dart charging of 50 watts. Realme’s charging is really at the next level. So you can expect this phone to do a 0-100 in less than an hour. And yes, Obvious but It also has a USB C port.
Networking and Variants
Realme GT comes with 5G support with multiple bands. It also supports all basic networking features related to WIFI and 4G. The phone comes with an 8 GB and 128 GB storage variant which is not expandable(drawback).
Price
The price of the Realme GT 5G base variant will be around 30k to 35k. At this price, it will compete with, Mi 11x, IQOO 7, and Samsung A72. It will be exciting to see if it competes well with these giants.
India Launch date- Realme GT 5G
According to the latest news, Realme will launch the GT 5G before or around Diwali time(To boost sales). Realme CEO Madhav Sheth confirmed it today in his AMA session. Realme Book Launch Date
Realme has showcased its budget Laptop series the Realme book. Although it is not named officially yet, Francis Wand had hinted at this name on Twitter. It will be a slim and lightweight laptop focused on fulfilling the needs of daily users. We expect this Laptop series to be launched similarly at the same time around Diwali (to boost sales obviously).
