Cast jiotv app on your firestick

Want to run DTH channels or JioTv on Amazon Fire Stick? It is always possible through the JioTV app. But is it even possible to get jiotv running on the amazon firestick?

Jio does not provide official JioTV app on Amazon Fire TV Stick, thus we can easily cast jiotv app on our firestick.

Step 1 – Uninstall From Phone

Make sure you have uninstalled all the previous versions of the Jiotv app from your device
Restart your Phone

Step 2 – Uninstall From Firestick

Make sure you have uninstalled all the previous versions of the Jiotv app from your firestick
Restart your Firestick

Step 3- Installing The Jio tv Mod App

Download the Jiotv mod app from below this post
Allow “Install Apps from unknows sources” when prompted
Install the app on your device

Step 4- Turn on mirroring on the Amazon Fire Stick

Open Amazon Fire TV Stick
Go to Home
Long press Home button on the firestick remote
Select Screen Mirroring
You should see instructions mentioning “Your Firesticks Name“

Step – 4: – Back to your mobile device

Make sure that both the Fire TV Stick and your mobile is connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Open Settings
Search for “Cast” or “Mirroring” or “Wireless Display”. Most of the smartphones have these names for screen mirroring , if you cant find these names , search your settings thoroughly .

Once found , select Cast/Miiror/Wireless Display.
Select “Your Firesticks Name” as shown on tv instructions.
Voila ! Your screen has been mirrored .

Now the magic begins , run the newly installed jio mod app that you recently installed . You should be able to see all the jiotv mod contents on your tv via screen mirroring .

NOTE – Do NOT update the jio tv app in order to view the contents on TV .
